Just finished rooting my 2nd (and last) Ira kit. I can't tell you how much I love this kit!! I still have the moisture to do in the corner's of her eyes and her eyes are not quite in correct position but they are not yet glued so I can fix them. I am thinking of the name Rhoswen which is Celtic for "white rose". What do you think of the name as well as the eye color of this sweet elfling (I truly see this sculpt as an elfling which is a cross between a human and an elf as she is so realistic and beautifully sculpted).

Sue your babies take my breath away! She is perfection and her name is beautiful for her. I'm sad she will be your last Ira, say it isn't so! All of your work is amazing but you have a real affinity for these elves. I wish you could do more of them.
Thank you all so much! Can't wait to get her done and together! Shelley, the eyes are solid glass paperweights in the color "green" (that was the only name-LOL!) They came and I was kind of shocked as they were so light but I think they really work okay with this one.
Thank you all so much! I have put her together (without weighing) so I could try on the daygown set I made for fit, and took a few more photos this morning. Sometimes I love the eyes and then sometimes I think they look kind of stark...but hey, she's an elf, right? LOL!

Well, I actually see her as an "elfling" which is a cross between an elf and a human since she has such human characteristics. I am not doing wings for this one but will do wings again for my next Ofelia that I will start soon (that will be Ofelia #3-and I will still have one more of that kit)!
I love her eyes the most! They don't appear stark in these pics to me at all. They actually look captivating! It's such a gorgeous color. Her gown and bonnet are every bit as beautiful as those sought after ones! I absolutely adore everything about her!
Thank you both Kimberly Dawn and Marilyn! I still think I need to adjust them just a tad more. She looked more serene in the first photos I took but looks maybe a bit more sad in the photos today. It is amazing how much a tiny adjustment makes in the expression.
All of your work is amazing but you have a real affinity for these elves. I wish you could do more of them.
