My IDEX contest baby...she's all mine!

I've been hiding her under my hat for a little while now and since the contest is over, I can now show her off.

This is Abi. She did not win any prizes but she sure has won my heart! I reborned her after the baby in the picture and I am keeping her



I hated putting her on the contest baby as I missed her something fierce in the evenings. So, I took her to Down Town Disney on Monday. She had a great time trying on head attire and asking for toys:






Monday night she unwound and showed off them chubby legs. Such a cutie!




It's really fun to have a new baby!!!

What surprised me is that you could find a kit that looked like your grand daughter. I am always impressed when people can see a person in a sculpt. It only happens to me on rare occasions.

THIS is the Berenguer doll that Debbie saw the face of her granddaughter in. Can you imagine that? It takes a really good and
artistic eye to see anything past that dolly's face!

Oh my Debbie! I love her! Lily is my FAVORITE Berenguer, and one of my favorite IDEX babies I've seen (photos only, couldn't attend). You did such a wonderful job transforming her. I just purchased one, new in box, off of Ebay. Hope to reborn her someday as well. I'm partial to chubby babies!!!

On the contrary...she is NOT Lilly! LOL She is the Beautiful Embrace. I thought they were exactly the same but, I accidentally cut her eye when removing her old eyes so I bought a Lilly head from a friend and guess what? They are different enough that I just could not use the Lilly head for the portrait baby. But you really can't see the slit after I got her all done. And besides, she is mine and her's just scratched her little eye to the nasal side. Poor baby!

Your Lilly will be just as cute though as both are lovely sculpts and oh my goodness Berenguer is coming out with some ADORABLE babies this year! Wow!

It's in the chin. BE has more of a triple chin than Lilly does. Her face is also just a wee bit longer than Lilly. I sure thought they were the same just that BE had the wig and Lilly did not. I was corrected as well!
