I was mention this on another post...

I bought a reborn from Ebay recently and she was well done,but, smelled of cigarette smoke
This lady went off on me...Citizens remorse,lair,Scammer..you'll never get a dime from me....
Hard to believe this person has a large number of feed and 100% positive.
So far Ebay stepped in and sent me a return shipping slip..she wouldn't...
I mailed her back and Ebay will reimburse me everything after she gets her back....
Ebay could read all the nastiness and threats she wrote...
I'm so irritated I want to leave he a big negative my husband tells me not to because the doll was done well...
What would you do?

Mention in your review that the doll was well done but the seller had a nasty attitude about the smoke you smelled.

I don't know about leaving her negative feedback but would mention maybe in neutral feedback about the quality of the doll and that it smelled like an ashtray and her attitude when you asked to return it.

She should have mentioned that the doll was from a smokers home. That is a big issue for many people. I would probably leave a neutral as well.

I have received dolls that have smelt strongly of cigarettes from "non smoking" homes.
I sympathise with you as the whole return and feedback aspect is extremely stressful

I'm sorry the seller was so nasty to you. I had a terrible experience on ebay once. The woman was such a bully I was too scared to do anything about it. I didn't even file a claim, although looking back I most definitely should have. I lost over $800 on a reborn that ended up having to be completely stripped and redone- it was that bad. I think you should certainly be honest in your feedback. I wonder all the time if other buyers were in the same situation and the seller got away with it by treating them that way.

Oh no, that is terrible I'm so sorry this happened to you and how disappointing. Any smoke smells have to be disclosed. It would be a total dealbreaker for me too. You should be protected through Ebay and I agree with what others said about leaving neutral feedback.

You being straight forward about the smell of cigarettes and her attitude could prevent someone else from the same thing.

Smoke is a real problem for people who have allergies and who get migraines. I would be livid. Be sure to mention the allergy issue in your review.
