What picture hosting service do you use?
Please help! I was using img box but when you clicked on the item it showed ads for porn!
Re: What picture hosting service do you use?
I don't use a picture hosting service. I just attach the picture to my post. It's really easy.

Me too. But they have to be re-sized if they’re too big.
I attach them from my photo albums on my iPad.

I just resize them in paint- just click on pixels and type in 400.

Is paint an app? I am on an iPad, but am not very computer savvy. Lol

I don't think so. It's on every computer I've ever had. I just go to the search box on the bottom left of the screen on my laptop and type in paint or just right click on the picture and then on paint in the drop down menu.

When you resize them in Paint be sure you choose "pixels" and not "percentage". I just blank out both boxes and type 400 in the top box and the bottom one automatically fills in.

Do you know where it is on an IPad Pro? Thanks.

There isn’t a “paint” option on an IPad

Re: What picture hosting service do you use?
I use my apple computer to post pictures. I have the cloud and take pictures with my iPhone and they are also on my computer. I can move the pictures to my desk top and do anything I want with them. Don't know how you would do it on an iPhone or iPad. It is easy on a regular size computer. I have an iPhone but use it as a phone, camera, or message sender/receiver. etc. but use my computer for all "business" and sites like Dollfan. Ruth

Re: What picture hosting service do you use?
so glad you all started this post. I was using a picture Trail but it shut down this February.
So my question is, if my photo is resize to 400 pixels and its on my desktop how do I stick it into the post? I have tried everything. There is no place here in the posts to add a pictures i.e. the traditional click and post.

If you want to put a picture in a thread someone else has started you have to hit "Post Reply" and then below there will be some tabs and one will say "Attachments".
Click on that and there will be something that says "Add files". Click on that and it should take you to your computer where your pictures is. Find the resized picture and click on it and click "open" and that should put the information in a box below "Add files" and it should say "Place inline" and "Delete file" next to it. Click "Place inline" and the proper information should show up in a white box. Then, scroll down and click "Submit" (or "Preview if you want to see if it looks okay) and it should show up in the thread. I hope this isn't too confusing. If you are starting a new thread yourself the "Attachments" tab should be there already. There won't be a "Post Reply" since you are starting the new thread.
I posted the picture above so I could make sure I did all the steps needed.

You can resize it in Paint. Just open it in Paint and click on pixels and type in 400 in the top box and then save the picture.

Don’t have a “paint” option

Ahh - I see - that's a problem then. I don't think there is any resize option here. It has to be done where the original picture is stored I believe.

Yes Sharon it did. I got an email notification from them about a month ago that they were closing down the site. I was bummed... but so happy you are back here on doll-fan my friend!
