Signature help please

This is the place for those "technical" computer questions concerning the board, such as avatars, signatures and pictures.
Feel free to test here as well.

Signature help please

Post by susan2015 »

I am so frustrated with myself :banghead:
I use to be able to find my way round the original forum but feel lost with the new settings.
Try as i might i am unable to add a signature now  My original sig has gone.
I would be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction please.
I see other ladies managing just fine with the new format but i am overwhelmed by the changes

It's in the UCP still....one thing I need to do is when you are logged in you see your avatar 3 times each with a drop down....will combine them a bit and probably go off the main one at top. Anyway, on the bottom avatar if you click on the drop down you'll see UCP(User Control Panel). Click on that, go to the profile tab, and then choose edit signature. Direct link is https://doll-fan.com/forums/user/signat ... cp_profile

The forum really hasn't changed much or at all from PM"s to navigation....it seems that it being surrounded by other stuff is throwing some of you off :) The main change to actual forum operation is when you click on a username it takes you to a different type of profile. The forum is just inside other content.

Thank you Steve for responding.
I found the link for the signature but cannot for the life of me find how to link my picture. Added a picture to my album but cannot find how to add.
I feel really silly as i was able to add pictures to the gallery previously, copy the code and copy to sig.
I will experiment as see if i can figure this out.
Many thanks Susan :D

I'll see if I can tweak the code so the actual address shows with less clicks but when you have an image of yours open you'll see 3 dots next to each other...

click on it and on the menu that drops down click on "view origional"...

The address of the image is in the address bar of your browser
Image3.jpg
copy the address from your browser address directly(or you can at this point right click on the image and select "copy image address") then paste the address in your post or signature. This, btw, is how you can put just about any image you find on the net(not copyrighted, of course ;) ) into a post.

Code: Select all
