Re: hand tutorial pics ( Stage One)
Virginia,
I usually try to bake on a stand or sometimes I just bake right in the dish laying down. I use a glass baking dish. I try to sand and then use acetone after baked.
Denise's tut here is phenomenal! There is another post (http://www.doll-fan.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=169714 and http://www.doll-fan.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=170239) this was more like a "Sculpting Party" hahahaha
I'm doing a limb tut for that head here (http://shoppesonmagnolia.com/phpbb2/vie ... sc&start=0 )
Hope these help and you get lots of replies!!!
Just jump in and give it a try!!!!
Good Luck!
Sandra

It's oven bake clay. Won't cure til you bake it.
Depends on what clay you use. Right now, I'm using Prosculpt. Package directions are 275 degrees F ....15 minutes for every 1/4 inch of clay. These limbs will probably bake for 30-40 min. I'd have to go back and look at the post for the head to see what I baked it at.

I'm a reborner, not a sculptor and I have to say WOW! I have gained a new respect for sculptors, you ladies work miracles with a lump of clay!
