Haven’t shared this sweetie in a while….

This is Luxe. He is another of my favourite sculpts.
He caused quite a stir at the Assisted Living place when I took him to show Dad. So much so, that they asked me to do a presentation on how reborns are made.

I love his preemie size. He’s so cuddly. I’d love to get the silicone version, but I need to downsize, not get more babies!
So, here he is…….painted by myself.

Thankyou! It was all a bit rushed, and I only had two dolls with me to show them…..Luxe and my Levi as a girl. But they were more interested in cuddling them, than hearing how they were made and painted. I just kind of muddled through trying to explain it all. Lolol. But it was fun.

Thankyou. The expressions on these resident’s faces are priceless and so precious. They seem to soften when they hold the dolls. Heartwarming, to say the least. Which is why I donated 6 more to the nursing home my Dad is now in. The Alzheimer’s residents love them. . They have an afternoon when they have “cuddle sessions”.
