I'm back...with no expectations! :)

Hi everyone!

I've come and gone over the years...pretty sure i first joined in 2010? So much activity back then, and i know things have changed a lot...in the dolly world and here on DF.
So, i'm joining again...this time with no expectations of it being more than it is. I still recognize so many people...and - being the nostalgic person that i am - i'm just wanting to stay connected to this group as we all share a common interest.

I'm also in a much different place in my life these days. My husband's dementia - that came on 10 years ago in a very mild form - has now progressed to a point where i'm not able to leave him alone for very long. This means my world is shrinking...and i'm feeling a need to be more in touch with folks (even if just virtually).

To all of you who remember me...i definitely remember YOU! And it's just good to know that we all keep circling the sun together!

Hello Thia, I just finally got logged back in today and miss this forum! I'm so very sorry for your husband and your situation. My father in law battled that as well and I must say it is the hardest thing my family had to go through. Hopefully you are able to connect or reconnect and have this as an enjoyable place. Welcome back ! It’s so nice to have you return. I’m sorry your hubby is not doing well . Always nice to escape into doll world for me too . My hubby has Parkinson’s and it’s nice to have a place to go when I need a break

I sure do remember you. I’m so sorry about your Husband. I’m sure that must be very difficult. Life can be very unkind as we age.
Do you still have a tiny cuddly baby to hold and hug? I’m selling all of my baby dolls and have fallen head over heels for BJD’s now. Totally different and very fun. Welcome back and I hope you find some enjoyment here.
