Most preemies I custom make for $149 to $179 depending on kit price.
Newborns run $299. Larger babies depend on how big and start at $325-$350.
I will reborn a kit sent to me, preemies are $75, Newborns are $125, plus shipping.

My prices vary depending on what size the baby is, how much hair/rooting you'd like, etc. Of course smaller babies are less than larger ones. I do all skin tones and ages. My prices outside of ebay are much less than what I run my auctions for because of all of the fees involved with ebay & Paypal. Quotes begin at $250 for a preemie, $300 for a newborn, and $500 for a toddler. The price will vary depending on the price of the kit (if the kit happens to be on a good sale, I will also pass the savings on to you, so the final price might be slightly less than what I listed here). I also offer custom rooting: $45 for a preemie, $60 for a newborn, and $80 for a toddler. This is if you provide the hair; if I provide the hair it will be $20 more above the listed price. This does not include the price of shipping. I can also do a painted/rooted hair combo, or just painted hair. And balds spots are available upon request. I have provided custom orders for ladies in the UK and USA mostly. I price my work off eBay, as £150 plus shipping for preemies, £250 plus shipping for full size babies,£275 if extras like body plates or glass eyes from Germany as these are at least £20 a pair for eyes and at least £15 for a body plate. This includes the doll kit,materials,stuffing, weighting, rooting, painting, and one layette of clothing to go home in. I usually allow 3 to 4 weeks for producing a custom reborn, and this is because sometimes there could be a delay on materials or something of that nature. I have to date, had very delighted customers and also have one of my dolls as a show doll for a kit on one of the suppliers websites. I have produced biracial dolls and seem to get a lot of enquirers for those. I use Genesis heat set paints, best quality angora mohair natural colours not dyed. I am a profession fine artist, and turned my hand to reborn dolls about 2 1/2 years ago, mainly as a hobby, but so many compliments, that I now enjoy making special OOAK babies for ladies, and love the pleasure one of my dolls can bring someone. My prices are a little lower than some, but in times of the credit crunch, I have to be realistic, even though my work is top quality, and takes hours.

I created my first reborn in April 2009 and I was in love. I reborned (58 were sold and the other 4 were gifts) 62 babies in 2009. I quit my part-time job in August 2009 to start reborning full-time.

I sell most of my babies on eBay and usually run a custom auction each month with only the available spots that I have time to complete that month.
My customs are $550 for most babies... $700 for toddlers (a discounted price is given if ordered from my website). I will work directly with the customer as to specifics of their order. If the customer already has the kit I will adjust the cost of the custom accordingly. Discounts are available to return customers and to those paying in full at the time of their order. Prices may be adjusted due to cost of kits and supplies or size of the reborn.

This is a VERY helpful thread! I have had several people write to ask who could reborn a Sweet Stuff and Wee Yawns Kit for them. The only other thing I think would help is if everyone puts pictures of their work. If they don't have photos to see, the customer is still going to have to contact each reborner anyway to have them send photos.
