Love is not defined by what the other can give you, but who they allow you to be.

You do so much work for these posts Ruth. Thank You. This is a great thread. So much information. It'd be neat if someone does do a Romie page like this.
Well I went in and did some repair on this post.... pictures I had taken down by mistake So thought they might be some that wanted to see the thread again. On page 1 I talk about AD silicones that were never available to the public but that do exist. I know of three. Would love to know more about these unmarketed beautiful babies. Enjoy, Ruth

I love this thread Ruth. Read it again tonight and it is refreshing everytime I read it. I have three of the AD babies that were never produced. I wish someone at AD had realized what they had and made them so many collectors could have owned one or more of them. To me they are prized possessions, like works of art that will never leave me. I also own Abby the OOAK silicone. I let Eva know I had her and she is thrilled to know that one of her collectors has her and she is enjoyed daily. Guess you can call me big time Helland collector. Her creations just have this look to them I have never seen duplicated.
I love this thread, also. I find myself coming back and looking at it again and again. Eva's work is beyond amazing and it's so good to see all of her silicones in one place. Didn't know if you wanted to add Kelsey to the collection, since the sculpt was done by Eva and she sanctioned the edition. Just a thought! Also, if anyone has all of these beautiful babies in their original outfits, that would be very fun to see. I see that you posted one of Elora in her original outfit, but there may be others. I just think that would be fun to see, since I don't know what a lot of their outfits looked like.
I think it is safe to say that the silicone babies were poured in Dragon skin silicone. When I compare him to my other Dragon Skin silicones, they feel the same. Andrew is wonderfully made and durable. The softer silicone came out later on after she stopped creating them (I believe).
Love this thread.
I am not not silicone or resin....so have none of these babies.....but I do have around 30 OOAKs by Eva.
When the cold damp weather hits I will have a go at cataloging them and post up pics with any history I know.
Eva will love to know how much we all cherish her work !...will put a huge smile on her face.
