Hi everyone......I am back! The week covid hit I was diagnosed with cancer and we had to shut down our skating/hockey rink so I have been sick and no more rink as I couldn't do much so we sold it. The people that bought it put in a mattress store...............must say alot of mad children..... I was operated on and they took out my ovaries and I was good for 2 years then i got cancer again...........still on chemo now but feeling pretty good....soooooooo I decided to try to get more ladies here onDoll-fan and begin where I left off................I love you all and hope there are still lots of you here.............please fill me in!!!!!!!!!!!Hugs, Kathy

Hi Kathy, I hope you are feeling better. Welcome back! Sorry to hear about your rink. My son used to play a lot of hockey so I spent a lot of time on rinks. A lot of doll people seem to have left unfortunately. Not sure why. Wishing you a speedily recovery.

Oh Kathy, I have been so worried about you but didn't know how to contact you. You have been in my prayers. Please keep strong you know so many of us have been praying for you all this time and we will continue to keep you in our prayers. Hello My Dear Friend! I am SOOOOO glad to see you back here again. You have certainly been missed. I am happy to hear that you are feeling better. You will be in my prayers, Kathy.

We have tried several times to liven up DF, but it doesn't seem to work. Maybe you could get us all energized again. So many members left and very few post, so it has gone downhill. I would love to see DF like it was in the "old days". We had so much fun, and there were so many posts that I could never keep up.

So glad you are back, Kathy. I will try to post more, too.

I’m glad you’re back Kathy. I hope 2023 is a great year for you. I’ve been a member since 2011, but just canceled my subscription as this site isn’t that active anymore. I’ll still have most of 2023 to access the site, but I rarely buy/sell anymore either so I don’t see where the feedback here will matter. It seems most are sharing more on FB and I see many that used to be here so I can still enjoy their collection with them.

Hi Kathy!!! Gosh I’m so sorry to hear of all your troubles with your health. You’ll definitely be in my thoughts as you progress through this next round of treatments. Maybe this will be the end of it and you’ll be totally over cancer after this. I SO hope so.
I have been gone from here for years but never dropped my membership. I simply got away from the doll world for the most part. I’m getting a bit of interest back though. We’ll see. Take care Girlfriend.

So glad to see you Kathy and wishing you the best outcome with your cancer. I was diagnosed with breast cancer a little over a year ago. Fortunately it was caught early and I am doing well. It all happened around the time we were getting ready to move. I had my surgery on Nov 11th and we closed on our home Nov 30th. Talk about stress. But we are now living in Florida and we absolutely love it here. We have been so busy this past year with remodeling and stuff that I have been on the forum very infrequently. Will be making an effort to check in more often now that everything is done.
